Krave Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The leather has a wonderful aged look with a warm patina and a golden rich colour. The front inside edge is marked with the maker's name and address, has a stitched leather handle with sturdy brass fittings and locks which work as they should which have not been cleaned to retain their original patina. The interior lining is in super condition and looks almost new. It also comes complete with the 2 original keys.
A very nice quality case which looks wonderful on display and would make a very nice small briefcase or handbag. Ideal for home decor, shop display or photography / film prop as it is so beautiful.
