Great Eastern Railways Station Master’s Chair Carver Chair

This is a lovely old Piece, it has the name of the Station master and his station Saxmundham, Suffolk written on the back, it has wide deep moulded seat,(which is very comfortable), curved arm rests, it has 8 stretchers so very strong and it is set on small casters

Chair has a vey nice patina, it is made in Walnut and Beech , there is an old repair on one of the arms, and signs of a bracket on the side of the seat which is no longer present

This is a good sturdy chair and it has a good colour and patina

The chair is 45” high at the back the seat is 18" high and 21” wide, 23” deep
