A Victorian Silver Sampson Morden Cigar Cutter & Knife

Description

A unusual and rare silver cigar cutter with added pen knife facility. This charming piece made by the great Sampson Mordan has a body of ribbed silver. The steel bladed cutter sits neatly in the case and is spring loaded to cut the cigar. Once rotated, the cutter turns into a useful pen knife. The hallmarked silver attaching ring is also of unusual design, featuring a patent number to the side and a lovely clasp system. A good usable and collectable piece. Dimensions below.
