Description

A very pretty and comfortable two seat sofa, dating from circa 1920, with arched back and two scroll arms with 'siege de duvet' type upholstery, and a pair of feather filled loose cushions, covered in it's original raspberry pink 'antique' velvet upholstery and with an hand worked oval needlework panel to the back.

The sofa is extremely comfortable and in very good condition. The original upholstery is nicely worn and lightly faded, there are some imperfections to the fabric as you would expect. The needlework is at least contemporary to the sofa but is very likely an addition as it was purchased from the set of the film 'The Little Stranger' where much of the upholstery had been adapted or embellished for the film.
