Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then more diamonds to the the most beautifully designed articulated shoulders, very much Art Deco in design. As you would expect from Longines the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched and has approximately 1.5ct of diamonds.
It has chased decorated sides to the case which is sure sign of quality.
It retains its original 9ct white gold fittings to the new traditional silk cord strap which can be adjusted to fit any length.
It is quite stunning with its original white dial which is in remarkable condition. It has been cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The case is 12mm wide and the overall length of the case and shoulders is 64mm.
The calibre 510 17 jewel manual winding movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Longines the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.
It comes complete with a premium quality presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.

The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
