*The original Borghese Vase is Athenian 1st century BC marble. It depicts a Bacchanalian procession accompanying Dionysus. It was discovered in Rome in 1566. It was sold by Prince Camillo Borghese to his brother-in-law Napoleon and is now on display in The Louvre, Paris.
 
Victor Paillard was a Parisian Sculptor and bronze founder.
