Description
A small Chinese porcelain dish, Kangxi Period, 1662-1722. The moulded dish, painted in underglaze blue, with a central panel of a bird, perched amongst flowering plants, observing insects, within a lappet border. Panels of flowering plants, upon a repeating swastika motif, create a broad border around the rim. The reverse with stylised sprigs, above a lappet motif, and concentric circle, enclosing a Linghzi in underglaze blue.
