Description

A finely modelled and cast ormolu INK STAND, cover and blue-glass liner with a cast finial which depicts a child and swan. The body is modelled with various classical motifs, and it is supported on the backs of three putti seated on a rouge marble plinth. Almost certainly French and mid-19th century. 6.5ins (16.5 cms) high overall.
