Description

Unusual Edwardian walnut dressing stool c.1910. Low backrest and arms with shaped and carved tops and elaborately carved and pierced splats and sides. Serpentine front seat with loose feather filled cushion. Raised on slim carved cabriole legs. Very good condition, frame has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops. New seat cushion in a soft scarlet velvet, a close match to the original patterned velvet damask below.
