Description

A World War 2 quality American marine chronometer by Hamilton. A 3 tier mahogany box with silvered labels. A 2 day duration fusee mechanism with cut bi-metallic balance and blued steel helical balance with compensating weights. A silvered engraved dial signed 'HAMILTON' and showing power reserve indicator. A rotating gimball which an be locked.

Hamilton are noted American watch makers and this example is in fine original condition. Circa 1940.
