Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This is a truly stunning piece, the cupboard is made in oak and has 3 carved panels on the front of the door, the centre panel depicts a handsome warrior and from the style of his headdress he is contemporary with the piece.

The front of the cupboard is in excellent condition, however the back leg has had a repair (long ago) and there is a bit of French wood worm damage, this has all been treated and is dead now.
The shelves are a later addition but we have left these in as they are useful, taking into consideration its great age the cupboard is in all round good condition

The cupboard is 77” Tall, 34” wide and 25” deep, the cornice is removable
