Description

Late 19th.c. French rosewood single door wardrobe or linen press c.1880. Useful narrow dimensions, with a full length dressing mirror, ideal as a hall piece perhaps. Arched door with bevelled mirror panel, fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (depth 15") and a single drawer, plus another deeper drawer in the base. Highly figured rosewood veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern across the front and sides. Featuring an arched cornice with carved frieze and raised mouldings, a fine pair of turned and fluted columns, carved drawer fronts and raised on turned bun feet. Oak lined interior, back boards and drawer linings. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
