Description

A fine example of a late Victorian Silk Top Hat with felt band. The hat is silk lined and has the mark for "Best Quality" inside. The hat is in good condition and displays beautifully. There are some minor signs of age and use - a small area of wear below the felt band, some minor wear inside on the underneath of the rim and an old tear in the silk lining (all photographed).

The inner circumference is approx 22" / 56cm which translates as a size 7.

The hat comes in its original leather carrying case with red velvet lined interiors and strap for securing the hat. It is in very good condition with some signs of age and use, some minor scuffs and marks but nothing detrimental. We do not have a key and the leather strap that would go all the way around the outside is missing.
