Description

Impressive pair of antique leather upholstered Carolean style armchairs on carved oak frames in excellent condition & dating from the 1890’s period. Take an enlarged look at the wonderful carvings, especially below the seats. They have lots of barley twist turnings, under the scroll over arms, down all the legs & on the stretchers. I particularly like the carved hairy paw feet. These armchairs have very generous proportions & are very comfortable, with plenty of head support.
