A wonderful and handsome magnifying glass with a sterling silver handle, The silver ferrule is where the English silver hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1924.

The front of the handle has a stunning and glossy piece or antique tortoiseshell with highly decorative markings with colours ranging from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown.

The glass itself is new, making it a perfectly usable desk accessory with a clear unblemished lens with a good magnification. Excellent condition, measuring 8" in length with the glass having a diameter measuring 3 1/2".
