Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
One Hand Blown Bell cloche from the Charente Region of France, the glass is green and it has a knob on top, (unlike some that have been removed to allow a better light distribution and prevent burning)
The cloche is in good original condition, no cracks, the occasional nibble at the base and imperfections in the hand blown glass
We have a total of 2 of these wonderful pieces, the knobs are all different as are the shape of the cloches , they vary in height from 30cm to 34cm in height and 44cm to 51cm in diameter
