Four Door Mahogany Bookcase C.1870.

Description

Mid 19th.c. mahogany four door bookcase c.1870. Six feet long with an inverted breakfront. Well figured single piece top with deep crossbanded edge. Over a two door centre cabinet and narrower sides, each fitted with two adjustable shelves which can be arranged as required. Arched glazed panel doors with raised mouldings and a simple applied carved detail to the top of each. Moulded shelf fronts, ogee moulded and crossbanded plinth. Solid mahogany sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
