Narrow French Vitrine C.1910.

Description

Beautiful little French vitrine or display cabinet c.1910. Useful narrow dimensions, just 24½" wide. Slim top drawer over a single door cabinet with shaped glazing to the front and sides, fitted with two glass shelves and lined with white linen. Kingwood veneers with satinwood crossbanding and striking chequerboard pattern parquetry panels. Marquetry work inlaid design of torches within a ribbon border to the door front. Brass mouldings around the parquetry panels at the top and ormolu mounts to the shoulders, door and feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
