Long Oak Ottoman Box Seat C.1890.

Description

Unusually long carved oak ottoman or box seat c.1890. Over six and a half feet long with lots of useful storage space inside. Lift up lid with a carved edge and padded seat freshly upholstered in a pale grey linen. Oak base with three crisply carved panels across the front, raised mouldings, bead detail and shaped plinth. Oak panelled sides, thick pine back and floorboards. Dimensions: length 79", depth 18½", height 18".
