Georgian Silver Cream Jug 1800 – Thomas Wallis II

Description

This superb SILVER CREAM JUG was made by Thomas Wallis II in 1800.

Of plain form with reeded rim, handle and foot rim this exceptional Cream Jug is in superb condition despite being almost 220 years old.

To the front is a beautifully engraved monogram of a previous owner which adds to the long history of this wonderful Jug.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

One or two very minor dinks – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Small previous owner’s initial to front.

Dimensions:

Height (To top of handle) – 4.0” (100mm) / Length (Handle to Spout) – 4.0” (100mm) / Width – 2.25” (57mm)

Weight – 97gm / 3.12ozt
