The frame with a rounded and stepped rim, around which leaves fold, surrounding the deep mould set with corvetto balls, and decorated with an inner band of beading to compliment the pediment pedestal.

The frame holding the atmospherically foxed convex plate.
The lower frame decorated with a lion mask, surrounded by spreading and scrolling leaves, the bottom of the lion mask tablet finished with hanging leaves and a flower bud.
Date c 1820.
