The silver is fully hallmarked for London 1889 and is also lucky enough to bear the Queen Victoria's head duty mark.
The box is beautifully decorated with all-over repousse work with a central vacant cartouche to either side including a bird in flight and a sitting bird. The box clips together firmly.
