An attractive Victorian armchair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.
The backrest frame has attractive turned supports and carvings.
The chair has been upholstered in a torquoise striped velour material with braid detail.
The chair has an overall height of 38" (97cm), an overall width of 25" (64cm), an overall depth of 23" (58cm), a backrest height of 25" (64cm), a seat height of 14" (36cm), a seat width of 25" (64cm) and a seat depth of 20" (51cm).
The chair remains in a very good usable condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage, including some minor indentations and wear to the finish on the frame.
This remains a very stylish and elegant Victorian armchair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
