The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is Fine Silver and is marked as such inside the two case backs. Fine silver is silver in its purest form, 99.9% as opposed to sterling silver which is 92.5%. The case is in lovely condition and the engine turned detail to the hinged back is still nice and crisp.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The silvered dial is nicely detailed and the Roman numerals have been picked out in gold.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
