Réne de Baugnies was a Belgian painter who was born in Leuven in 1869 and he died in Brussels in 1962. Baugnies is famous for his landscape painting.he exhibited between 1905 and 1933 at the National Society of Fine Arts in Brussels , the Studio Gallery in Brussels and in 1925 at the Lamoriniere. Member of the National Society of Fine Arts , he exhibited at the Salon of French artists in 1929 the canvas Bassin fishermen, Ostend . He is mainly responsible for landscapes and seascapes.
