Scottish Sheraton Mahogany Tea Table, Circa 1785

Fine quality Scottish Sheraton George III solid figured mahogany and inlaid turn over tea table of shaped breakfront form. All inlaid with boxwood lines and inlaid patera to top of legs. Fitted with single mahogany lined frieze drawer. The top supported by twin gated legs when open. All in fine original condition with just a couple of minor repairs. No splits, cracks or warps. Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina.

Dealer in hand picked Georgian and earlier furniture, ceramics, metalware and silver. Also stocked 19th. Scottish paintings and oriental rugs. Business founded in 1854 in Portsmouth, now run by myself the fourth generation near Perth in Scotland. Shop open Monday to Saturday 9am - 5.30pm. Ample free parking.
