Description

A Large 19th Century French Gilt Wall Mirror

This Mirror has a beautiful Gilt and Gesso Frame the carved frame is painted in a rich bright gold which has darkened slightly with age

The wide moulded frame is decorated and has an elegant decoration on the top with scrolls and swags at the edges

The mirror frame is in good condition, the glass is also in good condition with very minor foxing and an old repair to the crest

The Mirror is 58” high and it is 36” wide and 8” deep
