Victorian mahogany open bookcase

This Victorian mahogany open bookcase was made circa 1870.

It is fitted with 3 adjustable shelves with a surface of 26cms deep 10 1/4ins (not including the edge moulding)

The cabinetmaker used fiddleback mahogany to give this very useful storage bookcase a bit of flair.

To each side of the shelves at the top as well as to the plinth are solid mahogany well carved corbels.

This antique bookcase provides fantastic storage for your books with no wasted space, as well as looking great.
