A wonderful late Victorian carved postage stamp box, hand-carved in the form of a Monkey's head sporting two glass eyes.

Made in the Black Forest region in around 1890. The hinged lid lifts to reveal a double compartment for postage stamps.

Excellent condition measuring 3 3/4" x 2 7/8"x 1 3/4".
