Description

A wonderful large jar with a good thick piece of crystal with the ever-popular hobnail cut decoration all around; the glass is in perfect condition.

The lid is made from solid or sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1917, together with the makers mark for Samuel M Levi.

The top is set with a large glossy piece of luxurious antique tortoiseshell with striking marks and a tapestry of colours$ ranging from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown.

The shell is enhanced with a stunning silver pique inlay, pretty as a picture, intricate and fine quality.

Excellent condition measuring 2 7/8" tall with a lid diameter measuring 2 7/8".
