A Superb Quality Rosewood and Brass French Jewellery Cabinet

19th century
Description

A superb quality rosewood and brass French jewellery cabinet. Having a rectangular top with a bevelled glass panel and fine quality brass moulding and line inlaid satinwood detail. The top opens to reveal a velvet lined interior with a hinged compartment. The cabinet has a mahogany lined frieze drawer with fine quality brass handle and again with satinwood line inlaid detail and brass moulding. Standing on four elegant square tapering supports with brass appliqués and mouldings and brass feet, complete with working locks and original key. French circa 1890-1900

dimensions: 15" wide x 13" deep x 30" high (The top is 13" wide x 11" deep)

Condition: This cabinet is in stunning original condition, cleaned and waxed
