Circa 1880- Pair Victorian Lamps

Description

Circa 1860-1880 a pair of striking and very well made brass candlesticks that were converted into lamps many years ago.

They measure 63cm in total in height and across the widest part of the feet they are 23cm. We have had them properly rewired to UK specifications using flex cable and fitted with an online switch. We also replaced the candle tubes and the lamp holders and they have only had a light polish.

They are beautifully decorated with various animals - possible lizards- and around the base are what appear to be the faces of dogs or similar, and there are three claw and ball feet on each. The photographs do not do them justice, but they can be viewed and collected from us in SW London by appointment.

Alternatively, postage and package is included in the price for mainland UK only and for remote parts or abroad, please contact us.
