Description

Set of eight antique mahogany dining chairs including two carvers in excellent condition & with nicely designed backs with some exquisite carvings. They are very elegant, with tapered legs, spade end feet & cross stretchers between the legs, which help make these chairs more sturdy. These chairs have drop in seats that have just been re-upholstered in a neutral cream fabric. The advantage of these drop in seats is that they don’t cost much to recover if so wished. I would date these chairs to around the 1920-30’s period.
