Antique Victorian Mahogany Leather Top Partners Desk

Description

This antique Victorian mahogany partners desk is full of character & has natural ageing on parts of the surface. It’s in good original condition & free from splits or warps. The leather top is a hand coloured one piece hide & it’s hand tooled. This desk has rounded corners, graduated drawers with turned handles & a double filing drawer on the bottom of the right hand pedestal. The back of the desk has panelled cupboards & there are working locks with keys. This is a fine quality solid looking desk & I would date it to around the 1860’s period. The pedestals sit on plinth bases & this desk separates into three sections for easy transportation.

Depth – 42 inches, 106 cm

Height – 30 inches, 76 cm

Kneehole Height – 24 inches, 61 cm
