Description

A late 18th century Italian gilt carved revolving tabernacle consisting of mounted gilded carvings and a marbleized body. The key still in working order and once turned allows the niche to rotate and has three different coloured niches . To the rear is a later door which opens to reveal the interior workings.

The tabernacle is very decorative and is completely untouched, it does require some restoration to the gesso and gilding/ paint work, however it is just as nice in its current country house condition.

( The carved figure of Madonna is not included but can be purchased separately).
