Description

A lovely Georgian mahogany side table dating from the early 19th Century. It is set on elegant tapering turned legs with a raised shaped gallery. It has two drawers, each with brass swan-neck handles. Good proportions, perfect for a hallway or a small writing desk.

It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. It is likely the drawer linings have been replaced at some point. The top surface has faded slightly over time but overall it has a nice aged patina. There is an old repaired split across one back corner and some general minor marks, light knocks and stains and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
