The drop leafs are supported by small hinged wooden flaps. It is a nice compact size for beside a bed or sofa.

It is in good original condition and displays very well. It is sturdy and in good order with a nice rich colour. The leaves are very slightly warped near the hinge but not so much as to affect the look of the table and they are easy to put up with a good even colour. The drawers open well and have their original blue penny paper linings. There are some minor marks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
