Description

This antique deep buttoned leather wing back armchair has a wonderful shape & original colour. It’s in excellent condition & has aged beautifully. Our leather specialist has just revived & polished the leather, so bringing out all the various shades of colours within. It has a deep buttoned back & seat cushion & the leather is hand tacked all over the frame. This armchair is also very comfortable due to the slope on the back & it also has good head support, due to the high hump back. The wings are also nicely shaped. This chair sits on strong mahogany legs which have extra support from the cross stretchers between. This is a very fine looking armchair & it’s getting harder to find single leather wing armchairs of this calibre. I would date it to around the 1910 period.
