The desk is in good condition for its age and has been well looked after. It has a lovely rich patina and the drawers open well. The inside of the drawers are generally clean and tidy with just some minor ink stains. There are some normal light signs of age and use, some surface scratches and small chip on one side but nothing detrimental and the leather surface is in good condition. The desk has been cleaned and polished and displays beautifully ready for use.
