Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The base of the mirror is flat so it may have originally been intended as an overmantel and it has a delightful waved inner edge and carved corner brackets

The large frame is in good sound condition, it has had some tiny repairs over the years but they are almost impossible to see, the looking glass too are in excellent condition
This is a charming piece of genuine English chic furnishing

The mirror is 77” wide, 48” high and about 4” in depth
