Description

A splendid George I design burr walnut card table. Dating from the late 19th century. Well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The shaped top is cross banded and folds over to reveal a baize lined playing surface and dished out counter holders to the corners. Whilst open , the top is supported by a swing-out back leg. The long elegant legs are of cabriole form with carved shell motifs to the knees and terminating in ball and claw feet. Offered for sale in very good condition, with a fine colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
