Antique Victorian Satin Birch Triple Wardrobe Compactum C1880

Antique Victorian Satin Birch Triple Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1880. Constructed fo m quality satin birch it has a moulded cornice top with deep crossbanded frieze above a full length central bevelled mirrored door. This is flanked on either side by a full length arched panelled door with original cut glass handles. Internally and to one side it has full length hanging space with brass rail. To the other side and centre there is a hanging rail above four sliding and removable tray drawers over two short drawers and two long drawers all of which are ash lined with original brass handles. The wardrobe is raised on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

MEASURES: 84” HIGH X 22” DEEP X 72” WIDE AND INTERNAL DEPTH 19”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
