Description

A lovely pair of 19th century carved walnut open chairs with hand stitched upholstery depicting vases of flowers with flapping birds either side. The curved arms with scrolled ends having carved acanthus type patterns, the turned legs decorated with single carved flower heads and having fluted turned stretchers.

The chairs have had some old repairs and the upholstery has frayed a bit, mainly on the fronts of the seats but all of this is commiserate with age but they are in very good solid condition and are very comfortable!
