Superb quality late 19th.c. Arts & Crafts style oak dresser c.1890. ¾ inch thick solid oak top with a chamfered edge and large applied thumb moulding below. Over two long drawers, a large open ‘dog kennel’ centre and two cupboards fitted with shelves and a drawer to the right hand side. Fabulous and original large Arts and Crafts style copper and brass handles and strap hinges. Moulded drawer fronts and doors and fluted detail to the frame. Fielded oak side panels, mahogany drawer linings and panelled back. Maker unknown but stamped with design serial numbers on the rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
