Description

Pair of short oak benches or hall seats c.1900. Just 46" long, solid oak throughout. Raked backrest and seat between shaped ends with a moulded edge, carved roundels and quatrefoil detail to the outside. Raised on a moulded plinth and joined with turned stretchers which form a useful shelf for shoes. Good condition, very solid and sturdy, left dry and unwaxed.
