~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A superb and very large cartel wall clock in the style of Louis XVI.
The bronze body has decorations of roses to the top and stylised acanthus to the bottom.

The large dial is 7" in diameter and is porcelain enamel on copper with beautifully fretted and incised gilt brass hands.
The French movement is of high quality and is by Vincenti. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running, please ask.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration. Bronze has a lovely patina with some wear and discolouration. The dial is also in excellent condition just some tiny nibble next to the right hand winding hole. The rear cover plate is slightly distorted.
