Antique English Sterling Silver Topped Rocking Blotter

Description

A wonderfully decorative desk-top roller blotter, covered with the most attractive repousse sterling silver top and a sterling silver handle, which of course unscrews to take the blotter apart for replacing the blotting paper.

The silver is in wonderful condition and a riot of decoration, hallmarked for Birmingham 1890, a true Victorian example. Excellent condition, wear to the wooden base commensurate with age. 4 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" tall to top of handle.
