Description

A French 19th Century Louis XVI Style kingwood bonheur de jour. The upper section is veneered in kingwood and with an ormolu gallery, mounts and mouldings. Having twin doors with fine quality sevres style porcelain plaques and opening to reveal a shelved interior above two mahogany lined drawers. The lower section also veneered in kingwood with a mahogany lined drawer enclosing a velvet lined writing surface. Supported on ormolu mounted cabriole supports and bears the retailers label Druce & Co of London. French circa 1880-1900

Dimensions: 53" high x 30" wide x 18" deep

Condition: This bonheur de jour is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
