Gents 9ct gold Smiths Astral wrist watch, 1965, made in England.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1965, with a maker's mark for Smiths Clocks & Watches. The back of the watch has a 1967 inscription There are three or four scratches to the back of the watch.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good original condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
