A very attractive early 19th century French Empire period gilt bronze ormolu portico mantel clock. Four columns standing on bases with applied stars, beautifully cast and chased mounts on classical motifs of flight. Unsigned white porcelain dial with fine quality Directoire/Consulat period hands. Eight day silk suspension movement. France, circa 1810.
